在本作舞台的2030年代世界中，被称为“西欧财阀”的巨大组织利用财力、武力进行世界规模的彻底性资源管理，所以技术以及人类的进步正停滞不前。因此表面上技术从2000年代起就没有改变。此作的世界观与TYPE-MOON多作共通的世界观基本设定一致，但却是从TYPE-MOON多作共通世界观的1970年代派生出来的平行世界，而并不单纯是月姬和Fate等作品的未来。在这个世界中大源的魔力(Mana)已经枯竭了。因此TYPE-MOON多作共通的世界观中的“魔术(Magi)”和“魔术师(Magus)”几乎都衰落了，魔术协会也只余下本来就不太依赖魔力的“阿特拉斯院”。。If not for C.C. walking in on them, Maxwell and Fran would have done it in the hospital bed next to Niles. After the fact, Fran is encouraged that finally something is happening between them.
