1937年8月，淞沪大战爆发，国军江城158师少校营长赵景舟(中共党员)，前往上海送军粮途中，意外遭遇从杭州湾偷偷登陆的日军特种兵侦查小队。激战脱险后，赵景舟及时把日军从杭州湾登陆、南北夹击上海的重要军情通报了国军淞沪指挥部，但未引起国军高层的重视，反而被国军中反共顽固派误解，以渎职之罪抓捕入狱。为完成党交给自己的任务，团结一切力量抗战到底，景舟忍辱负重，在和党组织彻底失去联系的情况下，依靠坚定不移的信仰，铲除了秘密进入国统区的日军侦查小分队,跟随抗战部队全力以赴投入到淞沪大战中。在淞沪大战失利后，景舟和江城共产党游击队在江南大地上与日军展开了一场接一场生死决战，在江南大地上树立起了一面高扬的抗日旗帜！。When he learns his days are numbered old count Hervé de Kéraudren decides to hide in a secret alcove and to die there, just to annoy his heirs. As a result of his body not being found the latter will have to wait for five years until they can inherit the count's money. Very upsetting indeed, all the more as they are required to keep up the Kéraudren estate in the meantime.
