《野狗・异人》以20世纪90年代的加拿大农村为背景，讲述了一个韩国家庭来此定居的故事。这个移民家庭中，父亲鳏居，育有一子一女。父亲的任务是消灭困扰城镇居民的野狗。随着故事发展，角色与这些「杂种狗」之间的关系愈发密切，情感愈发深厚，彼此间的象征也愈发明显。儿子有句话说得恰如其分，「有时我连自己在哪里都不知道」。就像这些无家可归的狗一样，父亲、儿子，以及女儿都迷失了方向，并且以自己的方式寻找「家」的归属。。“Run” follows the individual storylines of migrants as they seek to avoid police as well as those of locals and tourists who get caught up in the events through the course of a day, culminating in a violent escalation.。
