中国东北一直流传着很邪乎的“出马仙”。传说中，有“狐、黄、白、柳、灰”五大仙家。 五仙有恩必赏，有仇必报，东北话说就是“护犊子”。所以五仙又被称为“保家仙”。出马仙是和仙家结缘的人，世代供奉，仙家和出马仙同生共死。 五大保家仙中，又以狐家的胡三太奶为大，法力最强，最重情重义。一个山里漆黑的夜晚，出马仙在做法请仙，所有村民跪满一地瑟瑟发抖。原来，因为村长带人上山掘了狐家一直守护的祖坟，触怒了胡三太奶，狐仙展开了疯狂报复，全村人都得跟着陪葬！村里怪事频发，不断有人恐怖惨死。出去读书的进步青年马栋梁，刚回村就听说自己父亲已被狐仙所害惨死，家中仅剩下从小被父亲买来的童养媳，又神秘失踪被凌辱。立誓要调查背后的真相，却发现人心，远远比狐仙更加可怕……。Frank Tagliano ('Steven Van Zandt' ), is a former New York mobster, who after testifying in a trial in the United States, Tagliano joins the witness protection program.
