"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。赵荣英欲将公司交儿子薛正阳、儿媳孟静秋管理，小三秦霜霜却带球上门，逼孟静秋离婚。赵荣英才知儿子背叛，遂将计就计从秦霜霜处套信息，为儿媳撑腰。最终婆媳里应外合，揭穿秦霜霜的真实目的。。
