Caught in a chain of events and power struggles that ripple out unleashing civil unrest, t...。九一八事变，东北沦陷。碧莲父亲赵义生和白千山、老师江枫积极组织抗日武装行动，帮助地方抗日力量一起炸毁了日满铁路，碧莲家因此惨遭日军血洗，父亲牺牲。碧莲与姐姐碧荷逃难途中，碧荷落入匪手，后被抗日义士洪飞相救。碧莲与同学白兰为抗日救国报考了南京陆军学校。后在参加国民党的锄奸行动时，遭到汪伪汉奸的迫害，江枫为救碧莲而跳崖。痛苦中的碧莲毅然投奔了延安。两年后，碧莲回东北发展抗日武装，巧遇失散多年的姐姐抗日女杰碧荷，碧荷拉队伍投奔了东北抗日联军。跳崖未死的江枫回长春配合苏联红军进攻，部署武装夺取日军要塞。在战斗中碧莲姐妹壮烈牺牲，苏联红军顺利通过要塞。。
