与梦中情人分手后，玛尔塔爱上了一位艺术家。然而，对这个病弱女子和朋友们来说，生活却有些波折。。升入私立咲钟湖学园高中的阿佐谷未乃爱，只是个动画的入门菜鸟，但她却被同年级的上井草有栖强行邀请成立了动画研究部。通过与同年级的高圆寺美子以及喜爱动画的前辈们相遇，未乃爱逐渐沉浸在动画的世界中。动研部员一边要面对学生会固执的废部劝告，一边对于渐渐逼近的世界灭亡一无所知，成天在活动室、在秋叶原、在圣地、在温泉，聊着动画的事情。。Inspired by Istanbul-born Armenian intellectual Eremya Celebi Komurciyan's travel diaries from the 17th century, Invisible to the Eye traces this particular itinerary in today’s Istanbul.
