鲁如花（祝绪丹饰）是海城大学里人尽皆知的著名“推销员”，嗜金如命的她不会放过任何一个将东西卖给别人的机会，更不会让任何一点利益从自己的指缝中溜走。一次偶然中，鲁如花邂逅了名为文初（赖艺饰）的富二代，两人的关系因为一场误会而降到了冰点。 然而，随着时间的推移，文初渐渐发现，鲁如花如此拼命的赚钱，是为了帮助患有先天性疾病的弟弟鲁似玉（王宇威饰），在内心里，她其实是一个特别单纯善良的姑娘。在不断的相互了解之中，两颗心渐渐靠近，可就在这个节骨眼上，鲁似玉的病情突然恶化，而鲁如花和文初的感情亦遭到了后者家人的强烈反对。。Acacias 38' takes us to 1899 to narrate the story of a group of maids and the bourgeois families for whom they work.
