《超能疯人院》讲述一个来自“落后”星球的青年人自制飞行器来到地球，寻找曾经因战争而流亡到地球的亲人，却发现隐藏的坏人一直进行着不为人知的计划……。导演申子安以拍电影，讲剧本的名义到处招摇撞骗，潜规则女演员，一次拿到了一个新剧本，在和制片人阅读完剧本后，对剧本充满信心的申子安和团队成员一起开启了拉投资的旅程。本以为是自己施展才能的大好机会，没想到却是场骗局，原先追随在他身边的人全部背叛跑到了另外一家公司。。Comedy about the proverbial genie who comes out of a bottle (a table lamp in this instance) to serve his new master.
