本剧改编自手冢治虫的《新选组》，讲述了父亲被斩杀的丘十郎为了磨练剑术报仇加入了新选组。在入伍考试中认识了冷酷的少年大作。出身不明，剑手光一的大作作为期待的大型新人被引入新选组。2人虽然培养了火热的友情，但不知不觉被时代的波浪捉弄，进入了必须互相残杀的悲壮的命运。。本片将把镜头聚焦在位于北美洲的巴巴多斯国, 通过拍摄最具有当地代表性的人物和故事,来走近巴巴多斯的自然美景和风俗人情。。The story revolves around three hobos: Brindille, Casquette and La Flèche. Every Tuesday, Brindille and Casquette play the lottery. They lose, but, for a brief moment, they allow themselves to dream.
