A scientist performing illegal stem cell research is trying to find a cure for cancer. After the transfer of shark cells is made into a human test subject, the ill man gets well again and it looks like the treatment was a success. But the experiment goes wrong, and the man transforms into monster: half-shark & half-human. But the scientist knows how to use this to his advantage...。20世纪30年代，多灾多难的中华民族进入了最黑暗和痛苦的一段历史时期。狼子野心的日本帝国主义露出贪婪嘴脸，妄图消灭中华民族，侵占大陆。1933年，被人称作“张扒皮”的国民党29军37师师长张自忠（柯俊雄饰）在长城喜峰口一战成名，随后荣升29军军长。平津一线局势凶险，中央奉行不抵抗政策，任凭日寇如何挑衅29军只能一忍再忍，咬紧牙关。1937年，日寇借口一名士兵失踪而悍然发动了震惊中外的七七事变。战争中29军副军长佟麟阁及师长赵登禹弃身捐国，张自忠则背负骂名担任了北平市的市长。正所谓“周公恐惧流言日”，一代名将所背负的使命是常人难以想象，而又值得后世子孙永远铭记的……。
