该剧在1985年5月期间刚刚定妆，本来是由翁美玲和汤镇业共同主演，而翁美玲也将此作为两人重新开始的一个契机，但是在定妆记者会时正好发生了汤镇业与某女星共同在海滩嬉戏的新闻，令翁和汤在化妆间大吵一架，随后只拍摄了一场戏的她即告自杀，而该剧中她的角色随后由张曼玉代替出演。。ABC预订《罗斯安家庭生活》衍生剧，暂定名《康纳一家》(The Conners，暂译)，主演约翰·古德曼、劳里·梅特卡夫、莎拉·吉尔伯特、艾丽西亚·格兰逊等(罗西妮·巴尔自然被拒之门外)。该剧依然围绕原剧康纳一家的生活展开，共10集，将于今秋播出。。Former Green Beret Louis Stevens returns to his hometown of Miami after completing military service in Brazil, only to learn that his old high school has become a haven for gangs and drug dealers.
