内容描述一名精神病男子化装成圣诞老人在公路上洗劫，并以残酷的手法杀死了车主夫妇。他们的小孩侥幸逃生，但多年以后仍然受到此一暴力事件的惊吓。 「圣诞老人是凶手」这种角色设计，对儿童而言根本无法接受，成年人亦会对本片的血腥暴力场面感到不忍卒睹，但其诡异的叙事风格仍然具有特色。 该片在当年首映时曾引起美国家长的抗议，不过因此反而使它变成卖座片，甚至接连拍摄了几部续集。。潮州菜是起源自中國廣東潮汕地區的菜餚，除了名物滷水打冷，近年潮汕牛肉火鍋更名副其實成為「潮菜」，風行全國。上述菜餚之外，潮汕人在生醃海鮮、米製美食等方面亦做得十分出色。「煮得之人」蕭秀香(三姐)聯同潮州菜名廚許美德(德哥)，偕同「潮州仔」林正峰到訪潮汕之地，尋訪滋味食店，品嚐最地道的潮州菜。兩位廚藝專家亦會各顯身手，炮製不同的潮汕特色佳餚、美食，並請來「星級」嘉賓一同品味。。When six friends fly off on a weekend getaway and are suddenly plagued by engine trouble, they're forced to land on a remote island. Looking for shelter, they're grateful to encounter Ma and Pa and their children - an eccentric family living in the island's backwoods.
