故事围绕旧金山最后一个，也是即将消失的黑人社区展开。一个黑人男子(吉米·凡尔斯饰)和他的朋友(乔纳森·梅杰斯饰)为找回属于家族的归属感，他们决定买下属于自己家族的房子。。生长于伊豆小镇的小日向光，以及从东京搬来的大木双叶。一同进入梦丘高中的两人，在呼吸器潜水以及日常的平凡事件当中，找到了很多的幸福。曾经对任何事都很消极的双叶，在总是开朗乐观的光的影响下，经历了很多向前踏出一步的喜悦。不止如此，双叶还在期盼已久的开放水域潜水员实习中合格，接下来将要以进阶开放水域潜水员为目标。仅此一次、无可替代的高中生活，现在才正要开始。美妙的日子仍未结束，两人一同走过的日子还要一直继续。。A cave in of a local canal tunnel under restoration reveals the skeletons of eight individuals. While most of the skeletons are from a cave in when the canal was under construction in the 19th century, one is obviously of a more recent vintage.
